I made two banners for Shell

I’ve had a very productive week and I am happy to see that my work went live today! Nothing like the exciting feeling of a launch!
First banner is for Shell Pernis which is one of the biggest oil refineries in the world. The materials made at Pernis are used by customers to manufacture many everyday products including car parts, foam seating and bedding, paints, cooling fluids, pharmaceuticals and petrol.

Second banner is for Shell Moerdijk, which is a specialized division for chemicals. The products made at Moerdijk are used by customers to manufacture many everyday products, such as car components, synthetic fibres, insulation materials, latex paints and anti-freeze.

It was a true pleasure making these banners, specially because I had the luxury problem of choosing from hundreds of really superb photos. And also they just liked everything I did and you just have to love clients like that. Everything went smooth and I am happy with the result!

Have a look and click on the banners to see them live on Shell’s website!

Embed Flash in WordPress Template

KingSystems again, this time in form of a banner I created last night for them.

Was actually struggling with how to insert Flash into this WordPress Template, I am so used to Dreamweaver, I take everything for granted. Simplest thing in the world should be to insert a Shockwave Flash file. But nooo… The good old way would be to just use the html tag but that just didn’t work for me. These crappy WYSIWYG editors just can’t compare to the dream of the Dreamwaver… It’s a lot of trouble shooting about the simplest things.

Anyway, my solution would be to install a plugin called “Kimili Flash Embed for Wordpress”.

All you have to do is to embed this simple line of code:
[kml_flashbed movie=”movie.swf” width=”550″ height=”400″ /]

Then adjust the width and height of your movie and give the exact location. Voila! You’re done!

Fun with 3D flower in Flash

Was just playing around in Flash with a 3D Flower tutorial. Got these nice photo’s sent to me by my friend Marina in Italy, photo’s from her and BF Ale on vacation on Sardinia. They were just oozing of love and hotness, so I found that spinning flower suiting that loving feeling. Aren’t they cute? Click on the image to see the Flash movie and click anywhere on the image to generate the 3D Flower.
